The things we pay attention to will grow in the garden of our hearts

I aim to cultivate kindness, patience, and appreciation for all the small wonders of life. I don't want to take for granted that which is available to me, and I want to be a positive influence on the world.

I will not speak ill of others, instead lifting up those that do good in the world.

Guiding Lights

I apply the parts that speak to me and leave those that don't suit me and my situation. I consider myself secular but believe there still is valuable insight to be found in spiritual and philosophical traditions throughout the ages.
